Here he is!!! The new bass player for PUMP!!!
Michael Vetter. With Stephan leaving us after 5 years in PUMP, we had to give serious thoughts about who to call. You all know, Stephan was a monster bass player, one of the best we've ever heard of.
But since we knew Stephan would be leaving soon, we set out to find the best possible match that would do our music justice. And when we pursued Michael's talents he was just as excited to join
with us as we were to have him in the band." Cool guy, great player...he really exceeded all expectations.
Fortune comes when you least expect it.

NEW ALBUM PUMP

Hi there,
well, we're sure you're all wondering, "Where the fuck is that long promised new PUMP record?"
Here's some good news for all of you waiting for sign of life from us.
Please be patient and rest assured, 'cause this goddamn thing will be released this year.
It's just taking a little longer than we expected to get done.
Finally, we'll enter Black Solaris Studios"
in Frankfurt/Main with Producer Uwe Lulis (Grave Digger, Rebellion, Sieges Even, Courageous, Dustsuckers) on June 13, 2008 to start with the recordings for our
new album entitled "Sonic Extasy". We're totally motivated and also highly pleased with the songs we've written
so far, guess we really created a monster this time. If everything works according to our schedule, we should be finished
by end of July. By then, we'll announce even more info on our new release."
But as you all know, life's a bitch and there's no good news without having some bad news on the other hand of course.
The rumors are true! In March 2008, our bass player Stephan decided that it would be better if he would
step aside for a while. With a successful business to run and lots of other commitments,he thought it would be best
for us and him to quit the band due to the lack of time he's suffering. So his last show was at the Rock City in Uster/Switzerland supporting Vengeance.
So that delayed us for some time...and we needed to recover from losing a brother. There was no anger, no fighting or something else.
We totally understand his decision, he's a great friend and musician, always will be.
We'll totally back and support him 100%. Take good care of you, we'll keep in touch anyway!

Hi there,
finally, we got a new drummer!!! After checking a couple of great drummers the last weeks, we finally made our decision a week ago or so. With this we'd like to announce the addition of drummer Andreas Minich to our ranks as replacement for Markus Kullmann. We couln't be happier with the new guy. Andy is a huge talent and a great friend, we're happy to have him with us, he fits right in. Stylistically his way of playing is pretty close to that of our former drummer Achim Keller, so every rehearsal sounds pretty familiar to us again. Nothing but pur fun!!! Wait until you guys see us live...we're bigger and better than ever before, the PUMP train is rolling again!!!

PUMP part ways with Drummer Markus Kullmann

Hi everyone,
well, here's another little update about us, even though this news entry has a more serious approach this time. But this is just to prevent a possibly rumour mill: Some of you might have heard it already, but drummer Markus Kullman is also no longer part of the Pump family. First of all, we'd like to thank Markus for his contribution to the band and the time he shared with us. Unfortunately, it's pretty much the same story as with Ulli at the time, sometimes things don't work out and our decision to go seperate ways was once agian mutual with all the other guys in the band. But nevertheless there is and there will be no bad blood between us, there are also no rumors, it's just a simple fact that if things don't work, then they don't work. We wish Markus all the best for his future career!!!
With that being said, we are actively seeking a new permanent drummer to complete our lineup again. We're looking for a talented, serious musician, who will be 100% dedicated to our band and our music. Must have your own car and be willing to practice 1 - 2 times a week at our practice room, located in Stuttgart. You should be available for all our future shows and tours. And please be confident in your ability to play our stuff. By the way...no egos please! Long haired drummers preferred, but that's not a necessity. well, it seems that this turns into a big fucking running gag, but the Rock
City show in Uster/Switzerland next Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 has been
postponed. Hard to believe, right? This feels kinda unreal, but this is yet
another one out of countless shows that has been cancelled the last one and
a half years. We're sorry to all of our friends who have planned going out
to see the show. We'll keep you informed if the show will be rescheduled in
the near future. PUMP wishes all the best to the guys in Vengeance, whatever
happened to one of you guys, we hope that all problems can be solved soon.
